Info:
Mechatronic harness for 0B5, S-tronic, DL501 - 7Q gearbox
Content:
New generation electrical harness (modified by Audi following malfunctions)
Procedure in French for dismantling and reassembling the mechatronics
Installation is simply carried out by changing the parts via the oil pan without dismantling the transmission.
No reprogramming necessary
Common S-Tronic Problems:
Gears that shift poorly (often 1° and 2°) or reverse and forward gear difficult to engage, unstable engine idling:
These symptoms most often come from the solenoid valves which regulate the pressure of the mechatronics.
In fact, the solenoids are heavily stressed and wear out to the point of causing gearbox failures.
Gearbox overheating warning light, drop in engine power:
Following wear of the temperature control solenoid valve, the oil heats up too much and the car can also malfunction and limit engine torque, even stopping completely (fault code P17D800).
This original Audi repair kit solves these problems at an infinitely lower cost than in the Audi network.
DSG mechanical subgroups:
Sub-box 1
The odd gears (1, 3, 5, 7) are driven by the central primary shaft 1 with the clutch E1.
Sub-box 2
Even gears (2, 4, 6) and reverse are driven by primary shaft 2 (a hollow shaft), with clutch E2.
The S Tronic 7 gearbox equips some of these cars:
Audi A4 (8K2 - 8K5 - 8KH) (11/07--), Audi A5 (8F - 8T) (06/07--), Audi A6 (4G2 - 4G5 - C7) (11/10--), Audi A7 Sportback (4GA) (10/10--), Audi Q5 (8R) (11/08--)
